James Harper

Prior to establishing Harper Stone, James was the NSW General Manager of one of the leading Australian technology providers with a significant government and higher education portfolio.

James has also spent 8 years of his career working in state and federal government, working in Defence, NSW Family and Community Services and most recently as the the Director of Workforce Analytics and Systems at the NSW Public Service Commission.

James successfully led the delivery of a number of multi-million dollar technology projects including the NSW Government Employee Number Re-platforming, NSW Public Service Commission DataFlow, Enterprise Search solution for the NSW Family and Community Services ChildStory Program, Macquarie University Website Redevelopment, and the Magento e-commerce solution for Lexis Nexis Australia and New Zealand.

James is a technology leader with a passion for business operations and data driven insights. James is Harper Stone's lead consultant and will partner with you to understand how a technology solution can deliver measurable results for your business, while staying within your budget.

Nick is a Sydney-based software and data engineer with extensive experience in the design and implementation of large-scale data-intensive systems. He has a strong track record of delivery across a variety of financial and e-commerce systems including NetBank and Commsec, Woolworths Online and a number of successful propriety trading firms.

With skills in both traditional software development and advanced data technologies such as Kafka, machine learning and neural networks, Nick has been a key part of the delivery of a number of large-scale data projects, including recent enhancements to the Woolworths product recommendation and chatbot systems.

Microsoft recognised Nick's contributions with MVP awards in C#, C++ and .NET over a period of 8 years. Nick has published 3 books and hundreds of technical articles, and is a regular presenter at both technical and speciality financial events across Australia. He recently completed the Microsoft Professional Program in Data Science.
